Aromatherapy is a wonderful antidote for stress, especially when given
as a massage. The stress relief of aromatherapy may help calm your
allergy symptoms. Stress relief is an overall positive benefit to your
health and well-being.
Aromatherapy provides a great alternative to modern medicine for the
relief of allergy symptoms; however, common sense must prevail. If
aromatherapy is upsetting your allergies, causing new symptoms or is
otherwise detrimental to your health, you should not use aromatherapy.
Research, research, research. Research is the key to knowing which
essential oils will benefit you the most. There are professionals who
know the essential oils inside and out, and may be the most competent
resource if you suffer from allergies. An aromatherapist will question
you during your initial consultation about your overall health, as well
as any allergies you may have. Do not withhold information from your
aromatherapist. By providing them with as much information as possible,
your aromatherapy sessions will be relaxing, rejuvenating and
refreshing.
