Essential Oils to Use While Pregnant

So which oils should you use when you are pregnant?


Lavender oil will help heal, as well as may help to strengthen contractions.

Chamomile is the Œmatriarch¹ of all essential oils because of its very gentle nature to help soothe and calm.

Neroli is one of the most effective antidepressant essential oils and is also useful for insomnia.

Bergamot is a very light and refreshing essential oil which is good to use during pregnancy as well.

Other essential oils that are good to use during pregnancy are Patchouli, Grapefruit, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Ylang Ylang and Peppermint. However, use peppermint with caution, but it is said to relive nausea.

Clary sage and Jasmine should also be used, but only during labor.

Other aromatherapy oils that are considered safe for use during pregnancy are Benzoin, Lemon, Orange, Sandalwood, Spearmint and Vetiver.
