Tired Feet
To assist with tired feet, fill a container with very warm water. Then,
add a few drops of peppermint. Sit back and let you feet soak for 15
minutes or longer.
Athlete’s Foot
Athlete’s foot is a fungal infection. The infection thrives in damp,
warm areas. People coping with athlete’s foot experience itching,
burning, blisters, inflammation, scaling, and cracking on their feet. To
assist with a more serious foot problem such as athlete’s foot, combine
geranium and tea tree. Place about 20 drops of the mixture into a
footbath and soak your feet. You should soak your feet in this footbath
three times per day for 15 minutes. You can also place a couple drops of
the mixture on a cotton ball and dab the affected area a few time a day.
If symptoms worsen, however, you should seek the help of a physician.
Corns
Corns are another irritant to feet. Corns are made of extra skin cells.
They are your foot’s way of protecting an area that is repeatedly rubbed
or squeezed. Corns are often caused by poor fitting shoes or by engaging
in activities that put extra pressure on the foot. To get rid of corns,
add a few drops of lemon to a cotton ball and dab the area.
Essential oils can offer a relaxing or invigorating bath. They can
re-awaken tired feet and tired bodies. So, go ahead, take 15 minutes and
have a soak – you deserve it!
