Essential oils can be the key to assisting with emotional health.
Essential oils have been recognized around the world and throughout
history for their effects on emotions and the state of mind. The first
step in using essential oils to assist in emotional health is to
identify the type of emotional problem you are experiencing.
After identifying the problem a combination of essential oils can be
used in the bath, as massage oil or inhaled to improve emotional
stability. When used in a bath, about ten drops should be added to the
bath water and you should soak in it for approximately 15 minutes. For
massage oil, a few drops of the essential oil can be added to a carrier
oil and used for a full body massage.
To inhale essential oils, place a few drops of the oil into a bowl
filled with very hot water. Lean over approximately eight inches from
the water in the bowl and place a towel over your head. Breathe in the
steam deeply for 5-10 minutes. Inhalation of essential oils is not,
however, recommended for asthmatics.
